Storm damage

Here in Cornwall we have just witnessed a short storm named storm Eucine. It brought heavy wind and rain and unfortunately some of our trees here at Burncoose have fallen. In this picture you can see the destruction that these storms have, pictured underneath this tree is our wonderful last plant of rhododendron genestrianum which has unfortunately suffered the brunt of the storm. We have managed to collect a few seeds from this in the autumn so lets hope that they germinate readily in the spring.
