Its a Friday morning here at Burncoose and today we have been having a little look in our seed house to see what's emerging. Lots of new little shoots are appearing every week as we edge ever so closely into spring. This week we have seen the appearance of:
- Stewartia serrata
- Eryngium serra
- Quercus Ilex
- Leycesteria Crocothyrosos
- Puya Chinensis
- Hedychium coronarium
We are about to think about sowing the rest of our seed stock and will be prepping the seed house to do so. In our previous post you can see that we have started the process for the rhododendrons and will keep you updated along the way.
