Bellow are two examples of magnolia seed pods which differ quite drastically in shape.
Magnolia Doltsopo
Also know as sweet Michelia is an evergreen tree. It grows to roughly 6-9m tall and produces incredible scented white flowers. The process for all Magnolia seeds is very much the same, so please do refer back to the post on Magnolia Sargantiana Robusta for propagation techniques.
Magnolia Rostrata
The ‘beaked’ magnolia, a large leaved magnolia which can grow very tall, up to 90ft. Producing scented white flowers which may also look pale pink. The seed propagation process is the same as Magnolia Sargentiana Robusta.
