One of our main propagation tasks here at Burncoose is propagating our wide variety of camellias. We use stock plants from Burncoose and Caerhays gardens to collect all material needed for production. These are then prepared and placed into our heated benches for the winter period. This year we have propped over 280 varieties, meaning around 30,000 camellias are in the bench.
