Here at Burncoose we have a large camellia collection which we propagate from. We pride ourselves with a selection of over 161 varieties in our catalogue and are very proud that we grow so many from our own plants. We spend roughly two-three months working through the gardens and collecting from Caerhays and Burncoose. Then we wait for the root structure to grow before lifting and potting on. We‘re working on a three year cycle, so the plants in these pictures will go for sale in there third year. The whole process is pretty full on and requires additional help for our propagation team.
